Position Overview:
Planning, developing, designing, implementing, and managing social media strategies.
• Defining and monitoring social media KPIs.
• Managing and overseeing social media content.
• Measuring the success of social media campaigns.
• Staying updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Using social media marketing design, scheduling, and planning tools such as Buffer and Canva.
• Enhancing and maintaining client social media brand styles.
• Advising clients on social media strategies.
• Demonstrating expertise in platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Scheduling and planning content while being responsive to last-minute developments and news.
• Monitoring and responding to emerging social media trends.
• Utilizing data-driven decision-making to refine and evolve social media strategies.
• Preparing and analyzing social media performance reports, contributing to monthly and quarterly business reviews, and tracking channel success against departmental KPIs.
Requirements
More than 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally as an early marketing hire at an early-stage startup.
Strong understanding of social media marketing and content creation.
Experience managing contractors or freelancers to execute marketing plans.
Proficiency with analytics platforms and marketing automation tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to marketing ownership.
Experience engaging with influencers and leveraging partnerships to grow brand visibility.
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
