About the Role

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and attention to CRM data accuracy, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of both our financial and client data.

Duties:

Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Conduct bank reconciliation to verify transactions and balances.
Update financial systems to ensure all entries accurately reflect billing and revenue.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
Assist in financial auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for efficient financial management.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support data-driven decisions.
Enter, update, and maintain financial and client-related data in the company’s CRM system.
Ensure CRM records reflect accurate billing status, payment history, and client interactions.
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to align CRM data with accounting records.
Monitor CRM data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure consistency across systems.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and experience in data entry or financial record-keeping within a CRM is a strong asset.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of financial services and budgeting practices is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
