About the Role
Position Overview:
The Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for designing, curating, and implementing high-quality STEM curriculum that meets Ontario school board standards. This role involves developing lesson plans, assessments, and materials tailored to the academic growth of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and curate curriculum materials that align with Ontario’s educational guidelines.
Develop AFL (Assessment for Learning) tests and evaluation tools for student progress.
Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to create visually engaging learning resources.
Conduct ongoing research to ensure curriculum stays current with educational trends and innovations.
Provide teacher/tutor training and guidance to ensure consistency in program delivery.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 3+ years of teaching experience in grades 3–8, with a focus on STEM subjects.
Proven expertise in curriculum development and content creation.
Strong understanding of AFL tests, assessment strategies, and differentiated instruction.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
